Multi-supplier dropshipping platform with print-on-demand support.
Overview
SmartDrop is a dropshipping platform built for merchants who want to sell without holding inventory. The storefront lets customers browse products, add to cart, and check out via Stripe. On the backend, orders are automatically routed to the right supplier — Printful for print-on-demand items, AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping, or Spocket for physical goods — with per-supplier fulfilment tracked independently. Admins manage products, suppliers, and orders through a dedicated dashboard. The system handles Stripe payment webhooks, supplier fulfilment webhooks, and both guest and authenticated checkout flows.

Problem solved
Dropshipping merchants often juggle separate suppliers, fulfilment rules, payment events, and order statuses manually. SmartDrop centralizes storefront, checkout, supplier routing, and admin operations in one system.
My role
I designed and built the entire platform — the storefront UI, admin dashboard, multi-supplier abstraction layer, Stripe checkout integration, and all webhook handlers. I also designed the PostgreSQL schema covering products with variants, orders, and per-supplier fulfilment tracking.
Challenges overcome
The most complex part was designing a supplier abstraction that could handle different fulfilment providers without duplicating order logic. Stripe webhooks and supplier webhooks also had to update order state safely.
What I learned
I learned to isolate third-party integrations behind stable internal models. That made the checkout and admin experience consistent even when suppliers had different APIs and fulfilment behavior.
