Overview
Profexy is a full-stack web application that lets users create and participate in prediction markets. Users can browse trending bets across categories like Sports, Crypto, and Entertainment, place bets using an intuitive multi-step form, and watch real-time voting progress update as others weigh in. The platform includes user authentication, a personal dashboard, and an admin panel for managing bets and users.

Problem solved
Prediction communities need a clearer way to turn real-world events into structured bets, show participation, and manage user activity without relying on informal comment threads or spreadsheets.
My role
I designed and built the entire application — from the database schema and API layer through to the frontend UI. I handled authentication with NextAuth, state management with Zustand, and built the full CRUD layer with Prisma and PostgreSQL.
Challenges overcome
The main challenge was turning bet creation into a guided flow while keeping the underlying data flexible enough for categories, options, user dashboards, and admin review.
What I learned
I learned how useful multi-step interfaces can be when the domain has a lot of required input. Breaking prediction creation into focused steps reduced complexity for users and made validation easier.
